HRDC Training & Coaching for Schools
Promote excellent teaching standards
We support teachers and school leadership with in-service professional development to help them improve their mastery of pedagogical, leadership, and digital skills.
Despite the rise of technology and AI solutions, teachers remain the most important determinant of whether students flourish or flounder in school.
Students look to teachers to provide the necessary guidance and care as they traverse the curriculum, and as they journey into adulthood: maturing in their mindsets, critical thinking, and social emotional skills.
21st century teachers are expected to have not only a solid foundation in pedagogical and classroom management skills, but also keen leadership acumen and digital fluency. It is crucial that schools invest in the continuous improvement of their teaching faculty to stay ahead of the curve and deliver the best education for their students.
Our Goal
Our goal is to enable schools to achieve the rigorous teaching standards they strive for, by building a teaching faculty that is skilled, knowledgeable, and mutually supportive.
Our Expertise
We specialise in running learning and development programmes for K-12 educators, whether in the form of one-off workshops, or structured courses over several weeks. Our programmes for educators are available as HRDC-certified courses, delivered by accredited and experienced trainers. As former teachers ourselves, our approach focuses on practical skills and fostering a culture of collaboration and peer learning among teachers that continue long after the programme.
Support educators to strive for excellence
Targeted workshops and training sessions are useful for building technical knowhow and addressing specific skill gaps among teaching faculty. Meanwhile, foundational courses are ideal for schools with new or relatively inexperienced teachers, to accelerate their mastery of teaching and classroom management skills.
Attract, nurture, and retain the best talent
Schools that prioritise learning and development of their teachers attract talent who share the same values of continuous improvement and striving for excellence. Teachers who feel nurtured and supported in their development will also be more invested in their professional growth and more satisfied at their job.
Build a culture of rigour and continuous improvement
A healthy mindset of learning and reflection among teachers is crucial for building a school culture that celebrates knowledge and personal improvement. Classroom observation and professional coaching sessions enable teachers to gain perspective of their strengths, blind spots, and areas of growth to further improve in their duties.
