Our Belief
The work of transforming an education system starts with building a movement of excellent educators at all levels.
We build and mobilise transformative leaders, competent educators, and effective community builders to drive change from the grassroots and beyond.
Our Approach
Data-driven
We measure and monitor the short- and long-term impact of all our programmes, and make improvements with every iteration.
Tech-informed
All our trainings and programmes leverage the latest technologies to support effective learning experiences for participants.
People-centered
We prioritise the growth of our participants – teachers, students, or officers – as the most valuable outcomes of our programmes.
Our History
2017
Edvolution is established in the year 2017 by two former teachers who were driven to impact more teachers in the classroom.
2018
Launched TEST: We launched our first programme, the 3-year Teacher Empowerment for School Transformation (TEST) programme with PPD Timur Laut and JPN Penang. We built capacity in State and District Education Offices to empower School Leaders in creating a collaborative and empowered work culture in schools.
2020
Launched PFCL: We launched a 16-month state-driven learning recovery programme with JPN Perlis aimed at improving student literacy and SPM passing rates in schools across the state of Perlis.
2021
Launched ALP’s 1st cohort: We launched the 8-month Applied Leadership Programme for school transformation with an inaugural cohort of 57 PPD (district education) officers. Acting as school coaches, PPD officers collaborate with Teacher Leaders to implement needs-based learning interventions in 100+ schools nationwide, to improve students’ attendance, engagement, and academic achievement.
2022
Received HRDC Training Provider accreditation: Edvolution received accreditation from HRD Corp as a Registered Training Provider and certified our programme staff as HRD Corp Accredited Trainers.
2023
Launched CikguHub: We officially launched CikguHub, our one-stop centre for teachers’ professional development – providing on-the-go learning, in-service training, class observations, leadership coaching, and other services to public, private, and international schools.
2023
ALP’s 2nd cohort: We continued the 8-month school transformation programme with a second cohort of 52 PPD (district education) officers.
2024
ALP’s 3rd cohort: We continued the 8-month school transformation programme with a third cohort of 60 PPD (district education) officers, with a focus on promoting STEM participation.
